Yesterday I vacuumed the whole yard, this is what it looked like outside my front door this morning. This actually looks better than it did yesterday. I had leaves almost an inch thick. I had left them there for Halloween color and cheer. All the leaves haven't fallen yet, so I will have to vacuum again. It's very rewarding to see the leaves disappear.
Almost every week, my friend Gail and I spend an afternoon together. Last night was our guild night, so we got together. Gail is working on a baby quilt. She made these cute sunbonnet girls. I will take more picture along the way to show you the rick-rack border.I pinned my pears. Now I get to quilt and I'm looking forward to it. And work on Christmas gifts. You all have a great weekend.

I love sunbonnet sue. Usually they are appliqued. So I love your method here.
