Boy Stripes

Well I still haven't pinned the homey bunny's, but would you like to see what I did pin? This is a little something, for a sweet little someone, who's coming to visit me this Halloween. I'm super excited and can't wait to see him again.

I can't show it all to you, because the is a spy in our midst, who will spoil the surprise. But when I saw this fabric, I feel in love with it and had to have it. Even though I'm on a serious fabric diet. I seem to have less of that green stuff these days. Maybe it's 2 kids in college and the bad economy. What ever it is, it sucks, right out of the bank account!

Tonight is Guild meeting and I'm hoping that someone will step up and take my place running the library. I've been doing it for the last 2 years. I have really enjoyed buy the books and now there are probably twice as many applique books as there used to be. But I'm ready for a break. It would be nice to go to a meeting and actually see the entire show without being busy with the books. My favorite part, show-in-tell is at the end of the meeting, but if I want to get home before 10pm, I need to put the books away, missing most of show-in-tell.

I'm also hoping that I'll get enough time to get to the store and buy some batting. Though I don't know when I'll next have the time to pin anything. My Daughter has requested my help. She is moving into a cute little studio, this weekend. I guess my job is to drive the truck and help her unpack. I told her I'm too old to move furniture. So instead, I'm suppose to recover said furniture. She wants a medium gray fabric to cover an old couch. I am having the hardest time finding that fabric! But I would rather recover a couch than move it!

Take care, Brandie

Getting my fabric all organized might just help my fabric diet! Cute fabric.
