My First Kaffe!

I know, this wasn't what you were expecting. You probably thought I made my first Kaffe Fasset quilt. You'll be waiting a long time girls. But I am getting closer. I bought my first piece, that's a start. And to find this fabric, I was in the aisle among all the other Kaffe's. I have looked at them all. I'm just not comfortable with all those colors yet.
This is a gorgeous piece of fabric. Kind of a deep dusty orange. I can see myself using this fabric more than once. It has a warm feel.
Yesterday I completed about half on my Aunt's aprons. I need to finish those up today and start something new. I'm getting tired of the sewing chores, I want to do something fun.
Well I hope you got a laugh out of the pic ( I really did buy it), have a great day!
Take care, Brandie

Only this week did I find out that Kaffe's name is said Kafe(with a long a) and not Kaffee` like a fancy cup of coffee. Wow, was I disappointed!!! LOL

Hi Brandie. Your bags are lovely! and...bright!
I know what you mean about not being there with brights yet - I don't feel entirely comfortable with what I'm doing with my mad birds, but hanging in there. Most likely I'll crawl back into my comfort zone after this quilt is finished, but who knows - there might be some lingering influence.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and leave a comment. It is lovely to meet new quilting friends.
