This box has a incomplete quilt and all the fabrics inside. I know I've shown yo this before, but if I've forgotten about it, maybe you have also.
3 yards of backing plus incomplete quilt top and all the fat-quarters from Robyn Pandolph's line "Bed of Roses".
And the pattern of course. The pattern is marked "2001". So that means it's been sitting around for a while. This was started in my own beginning days. My applique is a little chunky and not as smooth as it is today. But I'm going to complete it anyway and then what I'll do with it, who knows.
These fabrics use to make my mouth water. I remember pure joy when looking at these fabrics. Not so much these days.
It's kind of cute, but I've moved on. Don't know where that is, but this quilt was a step toward where I am today. I know that I didn't do everything just like the pattern and that I did think about moving things around. The beginning days of rebellion.
Yesterday I started the applique last border. I will try to finish it before closing up the box again. Wish me luck!
Take care, Brandie

Yay! For getting the old quilt back out. If it isn't your style any longer it is still nice to have all finished and set aside for a gift.
I love the hat box! Did you decorate it?
I love all the old Robyn Pandolph fabrics and your quilt is lovely. Good on you for bringing it back out to finish.
you would never think this, but I really think that quilt is cute. I would love to have a little house just like that...=)
It's a very pretty quilt Brandie, but isn't it funny how fabrics that once made the heart sing just make it hum now...
Catching up reading some of your blog. That is so funny about your son and animals. I think there are a lot of people like that.
I love what is in this box. It is beautiful. You are so close to finishing it.
