T B Post 2

So sorry I was tardy this morning. I was on a wild goose chase. Or maybe it was a snipe hunt. All I know is that I got up before the sun was up, to take bio-mom to an out of town appointment. When we arrived, on time, we were told there was no appointment today. No, that appointment is for sometime on the 16 th, not the 13 th.
Relearning deep yoga breathes is a good thing! This may make me sound as if I have anger problems, no I have the opposite problem, door mat. Specially when it comes to bio-mom. I know I will never get the acceptance I seem to crave, and it's not that I even like her or want to be around her, but I go into a child like mood when around her.
So I came home and took a r-e-a-l-l-y l-o-n-g nap. All better now.

I didn't accomplish as much as I wanted to this weekend. I sent most of Saturday watching Netflix with the Hubby.
What I did do was about 5 rows of sashing and I'm really happy with the way it looks.
I had to recut my half-squares and I cut up all of my red that I was using for the sashing. This is where I quit and just never got back to the scrap boxes to look for more of that same red. If I don't have any, I'll have to go shopping and cross my fingers that I can find a close enough red. Because I ain't taking out what I've already sewn in!
I also laid out the other baskets and I will only have 3 extras. I may just set them into the backing. So remind me of this idea when I get that far.

Thanks for listening and letting me vent, I may need you again on Thursday.

Take care, Brandie

Inhale. . . Exhale. . . And again. :) I used to have to practice the same yoga breathing with my mom. Strained relationships where you feel a sense of obligation are always a pain and I feel yours.
The baskets are coming together beautifully, I'll keep my fingers crossed and send positive thoughts that you have more of the red.

Brandie, it took me the longest time to figure out I was not going to get what I wanted from my mom! I always thought I was a quick learner too! LOL
Hang in there...

Your baskets look great. I hope you find some more red fabric to finish them off.
