How does your garden grow?

We have been having the weirdest weather here in Paradise. Tornados warnings, heavy rains, lost of internet, what month is this, Junuary?
Even without the sun, I've got a little garden growing.
I've also purchased two Kaffe Fasset fabrics. I'm using a Kaffe stripe on the border and another Kaffe on the back. Most of you know Kaffe's aren't in my stash, but these two really work with this garden. (and the backing was a $5 cut. Can't beat that!)

I hope to get this pinned today, but I have my furry grandchild for a week. His Mommy is going to Disneyland and to see the coast. So If I can keep him from interfering, I may get it pinned. So far I haven't accomplished much.

This morning I took my first Yoga class after being absent for many years. I have badly fallen off the wagon and as we all know, I'm getting older. So I need to be good to myself while I still can.
It was a great class and I plan to go back every week. I'm going to need to have more me time as I have a few things to work through. I've let my mind and body go in the last few years, time to take back the wheel.
I'm fine and healthy (just fat), this concerns my bio-mom. If you can't tell, there are certain issues with this relationship and I'm not sure how to feel about any of it, hence the "Me Time". I just need to be calm, cool and collected and remain ME.
I know this is cryptic, but I would like my blog to always remain a fun and happy place. So till I have something good to say, I'm just going to keep quiet!

Take care!
Brandie

Garden is looking good. Weird weather here too. Nice that you are spending time with your furry grandchild! Lol! Great that you are thinking of yourself and your health. Yes, we tend to not take care of ourselves when we should. Yoga...sounds like fun!

Love that garden. I don't do yoga, but I am certainly addicted to walking of any kind. Since retiring, I have started weight watchers to get the old body back in shape. Good luck.

Your garden is charming. Southern MD has had bizzar weather too. Our heat wave (95 to 100 degrees for two weeks) broke and we're back to normal temps in the 80's for highs. Feels like a cold snap, lol.
My Dr. asked if I've been stretching yesterday. Seems my tick born illness issues have my muscles in knots again. I had to admit, although I do stretches, I do not have a comprehensive whole body stretching exercise program. My problem is I hate to drive somewhere to workout, especially when it doesn't require special equipment.
It's good to hear you're taking care of you!
Blessings :o)
