The square on the right, just doesn't have any punch. Also I did it free motion, so as not to have to turn the quilt. It just looks bad.So it's back to the drawing board. I may just add fewer lines to the left block.
In other news, I'm an Aunt again! My niece had her second child last night, Cameron. And you all know what this means, more baby quilts. I still need to get one more done for Cameron. I'm a slacker, I know.
So I'll be busy this weekend, quilting or cutting up some blues for Cameron, but busy as a B.

How about a take on the baptist fan quilting? It's quilted arcs and you can do it freehand. Plus it will suit the traditional fabrics and mimic the handle arcs? Just a thought.

Congratulation Auntie!! I really love both squares of quilting. Looks fab, but I understand what you mean by having to quilt a lot of lines. You'll be sick of quilting the lines half way through. Anyway you quilt it will be gorgeous!!
