Scrap Therapy

This weekend I started a Fun new project just perfect for Fall weather. Weather appropriate but maybe not brain appropriate. I'm having sew much trouble with piecing! I must be really out of practice.
This is a Thimbleberry pattern. There are 16 blocks, 8 the same just with different colors.
I bought a kit BUT I'm picky and will be using many of my own scraps.
Hopefully I can make 2 blocks a week. So far so good, just tiny pieces and pudding brain at work here.

On the home front, my Brother moved in this weekend. This will be new for all of us. Again, so far so good! He's even doing dishes... so no complaints... yet.

Have a happy Monday!
Take care, Brandie

Some of my fondest memories are when my brother lived with us. It helped us to grow so much closer. I hope it's as good an experience for you. Cute pumpkin quilt! I see everyone starting fall projects, but I'm not ready for summer to end yet. It seems like it has flown by far too quickly!

Cute pumpkins. I understand the pudding brain. Be kind to yourself. You have lots going on and a pudding brain is understandable!

Those are cute pumpkin blocks. I've been feeling the call of October, wanting to start something with pumpkins. . .
