No Big Deal

Here is the beautiful display of zippers at Morning Star Quilt. Can you read the label? Zippers are no big deal. And it's true!
Zippers are no big deal
I bought a handful and came home to whip up another bag or two.

Don't you just love the Kaffe bag!? And look at those pretty zips! I've found that the zips don't even have to match exactly, they all just look great.
I also managed to improve my sewing time.
The blue bag was my second bag and it took 45 minutes.
The Kaffe bag took 30 minutes. I now have the pattern down and have even made a few quick changes to the original pattern to save time.

I'm not the only one addicted to these bags. Carla is the one to introduce me to these bags and the same with the hexies. She may be a dangerous blogger to follow! We just never know where temptation will come from! I dare you to not look at her blog!
The furry babies waiting for my marathon bag construction to be finished.

We had a bit of a scare last night with little Maximus. He had to take a trip to see the 24 hour vet. He was fine by the time we rolled into the parking lot but we had 35 minutes of heart breaking fear.
They thought he might have had an anaphylactic shock to a bug bite. It's a mystery but at least it had a good ending.

Well I'm off to clean house. Maybe I'll have enough time to finish a few hexies...

Take care, Brandie
