Little Bit of This & That

So far, this hexie has had the most pieces. 24 of them! Tiny little papers covered by tiny bits of fabric.
As you can see, I saw tumbling blocks when I looked at this hexie. so I made it accordingly.
But I didn't take into account that my hexies are on point. So All this work may go unnoticed. Oh well!
And I started quilting on those shaved bunnies. Does the bow help at all?
I started with a feather over the bunny and somehow that feather grew into a feather palm tree. I think I'll keep it, just because it make me smile.
 This makes me smile too!
Dorian jumps up on Dad whenever he walks by. I think the cat like to be moving. He perches himself on Dads shoulder and they pace throughout the house. I smile with every pass.
Row three! Yippee! This row seemed to take a bit longer. If you look closely, you can see the tumbling blocks second to last in the bottom row.
I still like this quilt. The funny thing is, I like it all together, not individually. Such a departure from my norm. But I have to admit, it's a warm, Happy quilt.
Just a bit of warning, be careful of your Kaffe stash. If I see it I might beg for a few red pieces. This happened to Marsha at applique club. She now has a few fussy-cut pieces of fabric put back in her stash. She'll get a big surprise when she unfolds them and sees holes in them!
Thank you Marsha!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Take care, Brandie

I like the feather quilting on your bunny quilt. It's looking great so far! Only one of our greats likes to be picked up. She's the only one that will me carry her around. However, she's also the lightest so it's works out. He looks adorable!

Brandie,
I think I could send you a few pieces of red Kaffee if you run short. I've developed a serious obsession in last little while and just finished a Kaffee 60 degree diamond quilt top.
