In my thread drawer, the closest matching green was a Coats and Clark, cheapo thread. Since it looked more than half full, I thought this would be a good time to use it up. But the joke was on me, it ran out. So I had to buy another cheapo to finish this quilt. Which means I'll probably put another half spool away when I'm done.

During my down time, I pulled out my applique and started working on my first egg. Still a wait and see.
This morning during the dogs walk, I noticed that all the trees had ice on them. Cold but beautiful!
Some how my pictures swapped, hhmm.
Anyway, I also grabbed some scraps and lace and ... well, I don't know yet.
So that's it for this week. I'm hoping to get a bit more quilting done on the green quilt this weekend. And who knows what else my unorganized mind will come up with.
Have a Wonderful creative weekend!
Take care, Brandie

The quilting looks great but what I am really looking forward to seeing more of is that egg. Those curlicues looks so fun!
I like your helper best!!!! That scrolling applique is looking really cool.
What a cool egg!! Loving that heart project so far, too. And don't you just know that would happen with the thread. lol
If only there were a way to teach Dorian how to paw applique since he loves quilting so much. Meowhahaha.
Your works are looking very interesting. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts dear...
I hate to run out of thread and then have to go get more for a project. I am looking forward to seeing your egg project.
Wonderful work.
