Up-Cycling

I've been at it again. I took an old (ugly) purse and made it into a lovely (in my opinion) new purse.
The best thing going for the old bag was the great handles. Unfortunately, those handle broke 4 needles!

Besides this bag, not much else has been going on.

Soon I hope I feel up to snuff. Can anyone recommend a good vitamin? Maybe something with chocolate in it?

Take care, Brandie

Very pretty bag!! What's old is new again!!! I'll have to check back on the vitamin thing too. Always up for something myself.

Love your purse, and those handles, well I just saw the fabric last night at the store that I want to make into a bag, and these handles will be great! I now have a use of all those skinny belts in my closet!

Chocolate is my prozac (she happily types as she's eating chocolate covered raisins).

Pretty bag. Chocolate is my answer too, or maybe a little wine.:-)

Very pretty bag. Hershey's Dark Chocolat Kisses fresh from the freezer...makes them last just a bit longer over the taste buds. :o)
For a special treat have red wine or port and rim the frozen glass with some melted chocolate that you chill again...pour in the wine and sip away! Oh Yeah now that is a proper way to feel better...

Ha ha, I think Chocolate is a vitamin! Your bag looks great. I have saved some leather straps from an old basket that Buddy chewed and have plans to make a new bag with them. Much better than fabric handles.

I have thought often about savaging leather straps for a bag but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Yours is beautimus my Dear!
