I had so much fun I made four! If you have seen the tutorial Moda's bake shop, do it. It's fun and sew easy!
Though I one thing I had problems with, was the button. Then I remembered I had big doll needle. So if you do make one (or four) was a big long needle to put your button on.
Take care, Brandie

Lovely! I have a set of 12" throw pillow (pieced by Aunt Bea) covers and an 18" throw pillow (pieced by Aunt Ruth)made of cathedral window blocks. They match nicely the quilt pieced by Grandma Grace and hand quilted by Mom(not cathedral window, but Anne and Andy blocks). All the women from my Mom's side of the family. They all look great in my guest room, with the treadle machine the quilt was pieced on.
It's good to hear a little from you. Hugs
Very nice, looks like you are using some vintage buttons. Love them.
Love them.....I might try some myself....I've always wanted to do a cathedral window....and this is a good quick way to see if I want to tackle a whole quilt....
I just finished making my first one. Still needs to be stuffed. Was surprised how easy they were to do, will be making more for gifts. Great way to use up small left over fabric pieces.
One was beautiful but four are even better! I love this pincushion! I mean-- All of them!
Your cathedral pincushions are beautiful. They each look wonderful. Great tip to use the long needle for sewing the button. Wonderful weekend...
Oh I love these pincushions, and the buttons really make them very kewl!
